New School Orchard!
Huge thanks to our wonderful parents and children who came along to our volunteering day on Saturday.
Thanks to Woodland Trust, we were able to plant over 400 native tree whips to create a wildlife-friendly hedgerow in our school field.
We also planted apple and pear trees which will form our very first school orchard!! Picking apples from a tree is one of life's simple pleasures and there is so much our children will be able to learn from this natural and beautiful resource. Thanks to Surrey County Council's Tree Team for their advice and help in organising the trees - we are truly grateful.
